Superior Area Arrangement in Kebon Kelapa Begins

Dozens of joint personnel were deployed to make arrangements for Jalan Pintu Air II, Kebon Kelapa Urban Village, Gambir Sub-district, Central Jakarta.

So, the drains, sidewalks, and parks must be addressed first

Jalan Pintu Air II with 180 meters long will be transformed into a superior area in Kebon Kelapa Urban Village following the Jakarta Acting Governor's direction.

Kebon Kelap Urban Village Head, Nurbin Tumbur Togar said the arrangement involved as many as 50 joint personnel from the Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat), Satpol PP, Environment Agency, Police/army, and PPSU.

"Today, we are starting the arrangement of the superior area, which begins with controlling semi-permanent buildings, carts, and dozens of stalls along Jalan Pintu Air II," he expressed, Friday (11/11).

He explained the work included draining drains, repairing sidewalks, and parks, as well as land for business for 40 traders.

"So, the drains, sidewalks, and parks must be addressed first before structuring dozens of business stalls along Jalan Pintu Air II," he explained.

Even, routine coaching would be held for 40 traders before being allowed to resume selling along Jalan Pintu Air II.

"That is by conducting communal work once to twice a month until the Jalan Pintu Air II area is neat and clean," he uttered.

So, he hoped that the arrangement could increase traders' economies.

"Traders must also sell orderly and keep the environment clean so it doesn't look shabby anymore," he said.
